Gita Style Yoga Classes at Autumn RETREAT
The great power of Yoga lies in its capacity to connect body, mind & spirit - for strength, healing & growth. Gita-Style Yoga does this by targeting the entire body, particularly the hormone system. This system affects everything from metabolism, digestion, ageing, to how we feel, what we think & our sense of wellbeing. This style uses a unique sequence of postures practiced in Melbourne for over 50 years, connecting you with empowering knowledge you can use in everyday life & leaving you feeling balanced, revitalized & whole. You can expect to do a combination of yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation & relaxation. In one hour, we work out & detox the whole body, creating change on all levels, not just the physical.   It suits all bodies, ages & fitness levels & is easily varied to be gentle for some & dynamic for others. Hatha Yoga Classes at Autumn RETREAT
Yoga is a Sanskrit word meaning union - the joining of our body, mind and spiritual consciousness. It is an ancient system of physical culture, which is both scientific & philosophical, though not a religion.  Hatha for Ha (Sun) + Tha (Moon) Yoga is a union of opposing forces that aims to balance the mental, physical and subtle forces of the body through the practice of:   - Postures (Asanas) to release tension, align the body & enhance energy flow   - Breath control (Pranayama) to further promote the energy flow of the body)  - Relaxation to settle the nervous system & calm the mind   - Meditation Hatha Yoga practice is a great way to cope with stress, relieve tension and anxiety, improve the immune system, and induce calmness and peacefulness of the body and mind. Kundalini Yoga Classes at Autumn RETREAT
Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is a complete science designed to work on our glandular and nervous system to create positive change to the mind and the body. Its aim is to awaken the kundalini energy which lays dormant within us all. Kundalini energy is none other than our creative potential. Men's Group at Autumn RETREAT

Many ancient cultures had a strictly organised time that men would sit and discuss topics about their dreams, aspirations, struggles and daily challenges. Today most men do not seek this naturally in daily life, things are "just too busy". a comment we all find ourselves saying at times. Mindful Men is a carefully facilitated program that practices absolute confidentiality while discussing topics that will help you find ourselves saying at times. This process helps us unwind, improves communication skills, self awareness, business productivity, take charge emotionally and much more. Mindfulness Meditation at Autumn RETREAT

Learn and practice different mindfulness and meditation techniques. Learn mindfulness tools to use for self enquiry, physical and emotional well-being. Discuss the building of a personal practice including; using movement; incorporating personal beliefs; mediation and mindfulness styles; as well as incorporating flexibility. Pilates Classes at Autumn RETREAT
Through Pilates you will learn to integrate breathing techniques, core stabilisation, mental focus and preciese mmovementsinto a free flowing exercise. These classes will help enhancepelvic stability, flexibility and coordination while building strength using smal apparatus and resisitance. They will also focus on muscles of the core to alleviate lower back pain, improve posture and prevent injury. These classes will be both innovative and challenging. Pregnancy & Post-natal Yoga Classes at Autumn RETREAT
Pregnancy & Post-natal Yoga Designed specifically for women’s changing bodies throughout this transformational period in their lives. Our classes work to create comfort for sacro-iliac pain, strengthening pelvic floor / maintenance, lower/upper back discomfort, as well as preparing your body for labour & beyond. Our classes focus on prevention and creating well-being to avoid headache, backache, discomfort and at the same time creating energy, clarity and a sense of perspective.  Although our timetable doesn't currently have a designated Pregnancy & Postnatal class, our Wednesday & Saturday classes can be easily customised to suit your personal needs. Francine is our residenet Pre & postnatal teacher and has opened her classes to a general class at the same time as being more than happy to accomodate you at any stage in your pregnancy or postnatally. Teen Yoga Classes at Autumn RETREAT
Learn valuable life skills to help you focus, release stress, harness energy and-tune into your true self. Classes include stretching, classic yoga postures (asana), breathing exercises (pranayama) plus relaxation and meditation techniques. (For ages 9 - 14+).
